Requirements 

Key Responsibilities



Clinical Leadership:


  • Lead the development and implementation of best-practice neurological diagnostic and treatment protocols.

  • Supervise a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, residents, nurses, and allied health professionals.

  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration with internal departments such as Radiology, ICU, Neurosurgery, and Rehabilitation.


Operational Management:


  • Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and acquisition of neurodiagnostic and treatment equipment.

  • Develop and maintain clinical pathways and SOPs for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency neurology care.

  • Monitor department KPIs, including patient outcomes, throughput, and procedural volumes.


Education and Training:


  • Organize CME activities and continuous training programs for neurology staff.

  • Support clinical research, academic publications, and participation in multicenter neurological studies.

  • Collaborate with affiliated universities for resident and fellow teaching and mentoring.


Quality Assurance and Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with international clinical standards and protocols for neurology services.

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Implement continuous quality improvement strategies to enhance patient safety and care outcomes.


Qualifications



Education and Experience:


  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Neurology.

  • At least 10 years of clinical experience in Neurology, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.


Skills and Expertise:


  • Expertise in managing complex neurological disorders and procedures, including stroke, epilepsy, MS, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuromuscular conditions.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Familiarity with advanced neuroimaging and electrophysiological techniques.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

  • Proficiency in using hospital information systems and neurology-specific digital tools.


Preferred:


  • Experience in multicultural or resource-constrained healthcare environments.

  • Membership in leading neurology associations (e.g., AAN, WFN, EAN).
