Talents Nexus is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to support the operational and administrative flow of a high-performing hospital department in Najaf, Iraq. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Assist the Facility Manager in planning and managing budgets for non-clinical services.
Coordinate and oversee operations of accommodations, ensuring a comfortable and well-maintained living environment for hospital staff.
Manage canteen services, ensuring quality food provision, hygiene, and alignment with dietary standards.
Oversee laundry services to ensure timely and effective cleaning of hospital linens and uniforms.
Maintain high standards in cleaning services across hospital premises to ensure a hygienic and safe environment.
Service Coordination
Liaise with service providers, vendors, and staff to ensure operational efficiency and address issues promptly.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of non-clinical service areas to ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards.
Monitor and evaluate service quality, implementing improvements where necessary.
Staff Supervision and Training
Supervise and mentor non-clinical service teams, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Organize training sessions to promote best practices in hygiene, safety, and customer service.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure all services comply with national and international regulations and standards.
Prepare and present regular reports on non-clinical operations to the Facility Manager, highlighting performance metrics, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) in facility management or coordinating non-clinical services, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Skills and Expertise
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and Italian is highly preferred.
